The Summerfield Charitable Trust has supported an annual lecture on important issues at the Cheltenham Literature Festival since 1994. Providing audiences with rich topics for discussion and debate, the lectures are given by thought-provoking speakers who are leaders in their field.
This year's event featured Shami Chakrabarti, Festival Guest Director and Director of advocacy group Liberty, discussing her new best selling book 'On Liberty' with Rachel Holmes and exploring the indispensable nature of our fundamental rights and freedom.
